This Country Sourdough has a rye starter and is a mix of rye, wholemeal and white flour. It's made like a sourdough but has the appearance of a wholemeal loaf! It's as good as they come and has won a World Bread silver Award.
As it is made fresh for us on a WEDNESDAY, we will ONLY DISPATCH THIS PRODUCT FRESH ON THAT DAY OR THE FOLLOWING DAY (Delivery on a Thursday or Friday), please make sure you plan and purchase your order accordingly. Bread delivered any other day of the week will be from our freezer!
Our bread and flour come from down the road at the Bakers Table at Talgarth Mill. It's a community-run, water powered flour mill and traditional bakery, the Brecon Beacons National Park's only working watermill - how special!
Keep it wrapped up and in a bread crock to help preserve it's shelf life or wrap it up tightly in clingfilm or something similar and pop it in the freezer to enjoy later.
