Award-winning, Gouda type organic cheese made from locally produced raw milk on the farm in Ceredigion, Wales. It has a dense, smooth and creamy texture and mellow, slightly sweet flavour which becomes deeper and richer with age. When it is very mature, it develops characteristics similar to a Parmesan. Ideal for those who are after good flavour without too much intensity.
Excellent when toasted or grilled as it melts in strings and great on pizza.
Because the cheese is hand-made by the Teifi cheesemaker, each batch will vary slightly from the next.
The cheese is suitable for vegetarians.
