With the festive season fast approaching, now is the perfect moment to get ahead and secure everything you need for a delicious, stress-free celebration. From smoked salmon and honey-glazed hams to luxury hampers and foodie presents, we have everything to make your Christmas truly special.
Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year here at Black Mountains Smokery, and we want to help you make it as smooth, delicious, and magical as possible. That’s why we strongly encourage you to place your Christmas food and gift orders well in advance. Ordering early not only guarantees your chosen delivery date, but it also helps us prepare your festive favourites with the same care and attention wetake pride in all year round.
Christmas Deliveries and Shelf Life
You can select your preferred delivery date at checkout, and we’ll ensure your produce is beautifully packed and dated to stay fresh into the New Year.
Christmas delivery slots are available from 13th to 20th December, and most of our products will have a fridge shelf life of 2–3 weeks and freeze beautifully, so receiving your order a little earlier is no problem at all.
Important Order Deadlines
Some products are made to order and require extra notice:
Christmas Hams must be ordered by 15th November to guarantee Christmas delivery. These are produced to order only and will ideally be delivered between 11th–14th December or 18th–19th. They will be dated 3rd January.
Fresh Smoked Fish Pâté should be delivered week commencing 18th December. These items cannot be frozen but will be dated just past Christmas.
All other items, including our smoked salmon, sliced duck, smoked chicken, and cheeses, will last well into the festive season and are ideal for freezing if needed.

Order Online or Call Us
To order, simply browse online, add your favourites to your basket, and choose your preferred delivery date using the calendar at checkout. Or, if you’d rather speak to a human, give us a call on tel:01873811566, we’re always happy to help.
Order as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Our delivery slots closest to Christmas fill up quickly, and our order book typically closes by 12th December — sometimes earlier if we reach capacity.
Click & Collect from the Smokery
If you’re local or passing through, you’re welcome to collect your order from our Smokery in Crickhowell. We’ll be open for collections until Friday 22nd or Saturday 23rd December. Please call ahead if you plan to collect on the 23rd.
Our shop and office will have extended opening hours in the lead-up to Christmas, including weekends. Check our website for up-to-date times.
