Handmade Welsh Shortbread Biscuits made in Aberffraw on Anglesey. Legend has it that centuries ago, a Welsh king was holding court in Aberffraw. His wife was walking along a beach there and, seeing a pretty scallop shell, had a cake baked in its shape. It is also thought that 13th Century Christian pilgrims to Spain pressed shortbread with scallop shells as a symbol of their journey.
Ready to eat. Enjoy for elevenses, tea or as a spoiling extra with a fruitful pudding!
These are the best tasting biscuits I have had, they make great Christmas gifts also

In a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Once opened, keep in an airtight container.

Flour (wheat flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), Salted Butter 33% (Milk), Sugar.
