Our smoked salmon gets people talking, not just because it tastes incredible, but because of the care and thought that goes into it. And that story starts long before it ever reaches our smokery.
Sourcing with Purpose
We’re proud to work with salmon from Bakkafrost, a producer known for doing things the right way with a strong focus on sustainability and fish welfare.
Looking after the fish really matters to us. That’s why we work within a supply chain where every stage is connected, from freshwater and sea farming right through to processing and sales. It means we can trace everything properly and know exactly where our salmon comes from.
It also means we can look closely at something people don’t always think about: feed.
Sustainable Feed, Better Salmon
Good salmon starts with good feed. Bakkafrost produces its own feed through Havsbrún, which gives them full control over quality and transparency.
Their feed is:
- Rich in Omega-3
- Made using 100% natural pigment
- Free from GMOs, steroids and hormones
- Certified to leading global standards like BAP, GlobalG.A.P, MSC and IFFO RS
It’s all part of making sure the fish are healthy, the product is high quality, and the impact on the environment is kept as low as possible.
